How to Find Us
I'm travelling by car
If you are driving by car, you need to take the A82 which runs along one side of Loch Ness. We are situated halfway between Invermoriston (2 miles from us) and Fort Augustus (4 miles from us) and we have two large banner signs along this A road in both directions guiding you to the campsite
I'm travelling from the airport
If you are travelling via our nearest airport of Inverness, then you need to follow all signs towards Inverness and then thereafter all signs towards Fort William on the A82 heading South, you will reach the village of Invermoriston after approximately 25 miles and we are a further 2 miles on from there, passing 'Loch Ness Lodges' we are then the next building on the right.
If you are arriving at the airport and then travelling by bus, you will need to take the shuttle bus operated by Stagecoach from the airport to Inverness bus station. Approximately a 24 minute bus journey.

I'm travelling by public transport
If you are travelling via our nearest train station of Inverness you will need to head for the Bus stop by Marks & Spencers and again using Stagecoach take the 5-minute journey to the Bus Station.
Once at the Bus Station you can use this same service provider Stagecoach to take the bus to Invermoriston, a journey of 48 minutes. Sometimes if you mention the campsite they will drop you outside and opposite us, but this road can be busy and caution is needed when crossing it.

Or alternatively another bus provider that operates out of the Bus Station is Citylink

I'm travelling on foot
If you are walking via the Great Glen Way then you can reach the campsite from the low (original) route, just look out for the forestry commission's waymarker of a Tent symbol, here you can walk down a pathway through the forest by following the white-topped posts, past our burn (stream) and up toward a gateway, here you will enter into the back of our Campsite. This is (in our opinion) a far safer route to take than that of heading into Invermoriston and walking along the main road (it is not paved once out of the village itself) and the road can be busy with fast flowing traffic. Alternatively, you can take the same bus operators as listed above from 'Invermoriston Public Hall' to us.
If you are attempting to do the High Route the link down from both of these routes will bring you down into Invermoriston, here you will need to follow the signs for the Great Glen Way and take the low route back to us (a rough distance of 1.5 miles)
More information on the Great Glen Way available here
N.B There are luggage/baggage transfer options available under 'Services' on the website listed above and we have a secure area in our reception to hold your backpacks in until you arrive.
