Cairngorm reindeer

A daily guided hill trip with one of our experienced reindeer herders takes visitors up onto the mountainside where the main herd live all year round, and the paddocks and exhibition in Glenmore offer an alternative easier way to see the reindeer for those unable to make the hill trip. It is roughly a 1.5 hr trip from us (60 miles)

It is well worth a visit to see the Old Man of Storr, Fairy pools and Portree Harbour and the Skye Bridge which links it to the mainland. It is a do-able 85 mile (2 hr) journey from us to Portree Harbour by car
